About Our Church
Our History
Hope Church is member of the Assemblies of God Churches in the United Kingdom and Ireland. ​​We are a family oriented, Jesus believing, Bible based church which serves as a beacon of faith in the Custom House and Beckton area of Newham, East London.​Hope Church AOG was birthed from the merging of two local churches (Praise Centre and Light House Christian Fellowship) who saw it fit to join together to continue the pursuit of a Kingdom agenda.
Proudly so, this merger took place on the 1st of April 2022. The combined churches have a wealth of 25 years experience and service to the community.

What we do differently?
All church programs and activities are tailored to build the faith of all who worship with us, we desire to see individuals and families grow in the Lord as we fulfil our Kingdom purpose.
We value unity and love, and as a family church, we have a deep passion for the development of the children and youth in the ministry, and we have a drive to make the Christian faith relatable and practical.​
There are regular services held where we meet to pray and have an in-depth discussion of the bible during our prayer meetings and bible studies respectively.​Whether you’re seeking a moment of spiritual renewal, connection and/sustenance, you can join us for our midweek and weekend services which are held virtually and face to face
